Interior and External Conversion – Forest of Dean

Interior and External Conversion in the Forest of Dean
We have recently had the pleasure of being appointed the selected principle contractor for a complete internal and external renovation to a property nestled in the quiet village of St Briavels in the Forest of Dean. This renovation has been a real team effort, with our site team ensuring everything is finished to a high standard, collaborating with local companies LD Heating, Alder Preece Electricians and our office team liaising with the clients on their design choices to ensure the finished product was the dream house they have envisioned.

We sourced the best materials from length and breath of the country; Installing a solid oak staircase from the stair box as a feature to the entrance hall, a beautiful kitchen from Bradford’s with solid granite counter tops from stone and earth and appliances by Neff. The whole house has been bought together with beautiful tile flooring from Mandarin stone, used in the high traffic areas. The modern look of the Argento Larch tile, lightens the room and gives it an airy, spacious modern finish.

The bathroom is fitted with a luxuriously deep freestanding bath from Victoria plumb and is standing on classic Darwin canterbury tile from Mandaian stone.

Our expert masonry team have infused new life into the existing chimney, patio and surrounding areas by repointing, which gives them a clean finish.

Our client chose to have a raised veranda leading from their master bedroom, which was constructed and installed by our team of master carpenters who executed the clients vision to a high standard, allowing the clients to enjoy their beautiful view and surrounds from the expansion of their bedroom. Our clients are now all settled back into their newly renovated dream home, and are enjoying the beautiful spring evenings on their veranda. They cannot wait to cosy up in front of their new log burner in the colder seasons.
